Legality of Fisting
 

I recently had a discussion with someone over this, and seem to recall soem sort of knowledge about this... is fisting illegal? yes or no... it seems like it would just be another sexual act, but then again america was founded on a "city on a hill".

There is no law against fisting. The law is whether fisting is obscene or not. Unfortunately, obscenity is not a cut and dry thing like child porn, so it's very complicated. What may be obscene in Alabama may not be in California, since community standards decide.

Some lawmakers think PlayBoy is obscene...

YOu should read up on the Seymour Butts case where he was prosecuted for anal fisting. It all depends on the knuckles!

Four fingers - legal, full hand - illegal, but no clue in which states it is enforced.

We sent him a Penthouse magazine to use in his court case. It had a black and white pictorial with two women fisting. The fister was using rubber gloves, but there was clearly fisting going on there.

He ended up having to make a second, edited version of the same video, but he was still allowed to sell the unedited version.

There is no 4-finger vs. 5-finger rule... It's all about what one community may consider obscene, and what another may not.

it's considered obscene, but so are alot of things such as a girl with two cocks in her face. It all comes down to which things that are obscene are most sought after in prosecution. Pooping definatley, fisting is moderate, pissing is a lil more normal. But anything can be considered obscene. A breast is obscene in tennessee. go figure..

its based on what state youre in and even sometimes what city youre in...

for example, here in Glendale, Ca:

its legal to put up to four fingers from each hand at the same time..making eight fingers total.. but its illegal to fist.... go figure
