cross-promoting pop-up script

I have a site that generates $250/month on 1000 hits of targeted traffic and I want a pop-up script to cross-promote similar sponsors and to rotate the popup banner. What is a good script.

Also, do you recommend giving people some "BAIT" or just taking them directly to the sponsor (assuming the traffic is targeted and high quality).

True, unfortunately this is type-in traffic, i am powerless to increase it, so i want to maximize it instead.
