If you still have a standard plain old tub in your house, have it
replaced with one of these immediately...

It has 10 jets, an inline water heater, and it's deep! (not to mention roomy) Powerful as hell too, jets are fully adjustable. I had my first dip in my new one last night, and didn't come out for 45 minutes, after which I slept like a baby until this afternoon.

I love this tub.

Like Seinfeld once said.... "tub... is love"

bringer 09-26-2004 01:21 PM

which jet shoots up your bum?

kmanrox 09-26-2004 01:21 PM

do you perform self enemas with it? cummon... be honest...

AndrewKanuck 09-26-2004 01:23 PM

Wash that thing

CDSmith 09-26-2004 01:23 PM

Turned up to their highest setting, those jets can definitely clean out your colon.

If that's, you know, what you're into.

NoCarrier 09-26-2004 01:23 PM

Is it ******* approved?

wdsguy 09-26-2004 01:38 PM

how much did that thing cost ya

CDSmith 09-26-2004 01:40 PM

I highly recommend getting a jetted tub. They can be a bit expensive to some, but if you can afford it they are just so choice. I don't know why I didn't have this renovation done sooner, what was I thinking??

Manowar 09-26-2004 01:42 PM

Very nice :thumbsup

With tax and the finished side (called a "skirt") and a drain kit for underneath, it came to about $900.

I also bought new pressure balanced taps and a hand-held shower massage thingy, new tub surround, new tiles for the cieling, new lighting, a vented ceiling fan, plus I'm having the contractor rip out the entire room -- floor, walls, everything.... and they've framed in a new tub/shower/laundry room that is about twice as big as it was.

Total cost: Just shy of $5k.

Nice tub. I prefer the bigger ones that can fit at least 2 people in it though.

Somehow I just knew ******* would show up in this thread. Nice tub though. In our master bath we have a 2 person jacuzzi though so we will stick with that =)

Do you have one in your home?

I would have liked one of those as well, but there were things to consider on this renovation. For one, I won't be living here forever. I will eventually move out of this house and rent out my part of it. My present house is an upper duplex, so I will eventually have 2 rents coming in instead of one.

The other thing was, I only had so much room in the area this tub is in to work with.

But two people can fit in this one, it is pretty deep and certainly wide enough. It is bigger than my old standard tub in some ways.

And damn that jetted hot water feels damned good on me aching bones. :D

Spunky 09-26-2004 05:32 PM

Nice tub :thumbsup

Well, you can't have a thread about tubs and not have ******* in it.

It just wouldn't be right.

candyflip 09-26-2004 05:36 PM

Those look like Jacuzzi jets and buttons. Good choice to go with the best.

I've got a 7 seater out back. :Graucho

BrainDead 09-26-2004 06:58 PM

ok! thanks for sharing!:)

Khun 09-26-2004 07:19 PM

CDSmith 09-26-2004 07:21 PM

I never want to bathe in a regular non-jetted tub again.
