i think i picked the Lions - i like them this year, thought maybe the Eagles would take them lightly and the Lions would cover or maybe upset.

Hmm, it's amazing how much a coach can do within a yr. Shit, even the Bears looked good last week, lol

yup, of all the sports, football is the one where coaching counts most. a great coach with a great coaching staff can turn around a franchise in a year or two, even without the best talent. Parcells, Belicek, Gibbs etc.

owens has made the eagles just nasty. they have a ton of playmakers now with owens, westbrook, mcnabb(who's finally not all hype), kearse, etc.
