Have a wireless network?

i slapped one together just recently, have 2 laptops and 2 desktops running now.

i was wondering, is it possible to monitor the actions on the other PC's?

Id like to be able to track the URL's that my other PC's visit.

anyone know how?

thanks,

rich

Well, one thing would be the routerlogs or a proxy, another - some software like eblaster.

We use a program called SpyPC on our kids' computers. It monitors sites they visit, logs keystrokes, plus you can ban certain words, sites, etc., and it runs invisible so they never know it's there.

Thanks. Being pornographers as we are :Graucho , we know the dangers that are out there. We are very open with our kids, but still don't believe that they should be exposed to the dangers on the web.

Oh yeah, SpyPC also emails us at midnight every day with a log report of all activity on each of their computers. Great program, and it was cheap, too. $30, I think at Best Buy... maybe Staples, I don't remember.

www.Softwaresells.com has parental controls that regulates where people can go, and http://www.4ispy.com/ watches everything they do, although it is a bit of a resource hog

I ordered some wi-fi hardware online last week so I can network my desktop
and laptop. Hopefully the gear will arrive in the next couple of days.

Probably a bit premature for me to offer wi-fi tech advice to others :winkwink:

Some advise from my experience.

Always have one computer hard wired to the wireless router.
