Sponsors Do You Have Hosted Galleries?
 

Well do not spam me in this thread!

Crockett's thread on hosted movie galleries got me thinking. Specially since I am also a sponsor.

So I got myself a copy of Comus Thumbs & began building a tgp/mgp. I felt as a sponsor I should really understand the workings of these sites from an affiliates side. Well first off I will be re-doing a lot of my galleries just from my experience last night.

Things I quickly learned that you may REALLY want to check:
1. Make sure your hosted galleries are spiderable with Comus thumbs. After attempting to do manual thumbs I ran into numerous issues.
1a. At times it could not reach a big picture for me to self crop.
1b. To many times a sponsor had hotlinking protection on that prevented me from grabbing a image to crop.
2. If you do not wish to provide descriptions. At very least provide more info about the site. For example I needed to know if a models was being promoted as 18, 19, 20 etc. Had to dig through tour to try to find this, and try is the keyword.
2a. If you do wish to provide descriptions, the default format for comus is this:
URL, Category, Description, Number of Images, Vote, Image Name,keywords
Example:
http://www.a.com/1/index.html, Teen, 18yr old in panties, 15, 1, image1.jpg, Teen barely legal panties
Personally I think most would be happy with url, category, description

Ok that is it for now. I am sure I am going to be learning a hell of a lot more over the course of time.
