Anyone in Florida
They are asking you to stay inside. Powerlines are down and it's not safe. Shit is getting bad...... stay inside, if you have to go outside.... don't drive..... from what I know everything is closed. Stay in your house.
I heard on the radio that most of the hotels are booked solid from the last hurricane....... if you try to run from it there will be no place to go...... the worst of the hurricane will hit in a few hours and then move on. I'm watching the updates on the tv and will post here to inform people in FL |
I thought you said you were shutting down??

Why would you post here to inform people in FL?
They dont have power, to come online and view the forums, and if they do have power, they have their own TV's. LOL |
Nice for people out of state that have family/friends here, though. Local media coverage is almost non-stop, but I doubt that's the case elsewhere. I'm on the west coast of FL, smack dab in the path of Jeanne, but of course it should weaken at least to a Cat 1 by the time it gets here. I live in a mobile, so we are at my SIL's place while she is out of state. It's rainy here and there, and the wind is much more wild than normal, but so far it's all under control here.:thumbsup
