Whoah....

crockett 09-26-2004 07:58 AM

well we still have power whoo hoo, but we are still getting pounded by heavy winds.. No real damage that I can see from my windows which is amazing as hard as the wind is blowing. I heard the waves from the ocen has gone up to AIA in places.. But that happened in Frances.

I know Melboure area got pounded so hope all the webmasters down there are ok. Guess there was a lot of flooding by the river down there. I lived there for most of my life and never saw the amount of flooding they were showing on TV in that area.

Tricksy 09-26-2004 08:17 AM

WOW! Nice pix. It seems u have really shitty weather out there...

Hanging in there, but the wind is still pounding us pretty hard. I was up your way last weekend doing a shoot at the patch. Hold on crockett it's going to get a little rougher on the backside.

Manowar 09-26-2004 08:19 AM

oh yea so another webmaster in Melbourne? lol how come I never knew there were so many of you guys down there when I was living there. Good luck down there, not sure if you have TV or anything still but they were showing a lot of flooding down by the river in down town Melbourne.. That and they said Malabar road was blocked because of boats in the way.. so I imagine the river areas are pretty flooded.

Whet Prod 09-26-2004 08:42 AM

We lost our power for 9 days from Frances. This time we still have power Yepeeee. I am about 2 miles from the river on Eau Gallie and 6 from beachside. Not much flooding here, just the wind. Even the wind is finally starting to let up, so I may take a ride in a bit to take some pics.
Any damage to the complex that they are building on Beach Street up there? We will be back up there to work Biketoberfest for my bike sites.

yea I'm about 2 blocks from the beach if you count the block after you cross A1A.. then about a block from the river.. (it's a lot narrower here, than it is down in Indanlantic area.

We lost power here for 3-4 days each storm so far.. so this is great not losing it so far :)

so what kinda stuff were you shooting when you came up here.. I wanna hook up with someone some time and start learning, lighting and so on.

Whet Prod 09-26-2004 09:12 AM

Yea, agreed it is great to have power this time!
I do Bike Week and Biketoberfest sites and work for the Cabbage Patch Bar as photographer.

My bike sites:

Bike Week Daytona

and

Biketober

Not adult sites, although I have an adult section at
Bike Week 2003
But you know how the city has put an end to flashers, so we hang mainly at the cabbage patch.
Would love to get together with you though. I did photography starting back in the 70's my first wife of 10 years was a Palm Beach model. I'll share all knowledge I have that you can use :thumbsup

Guess my domain bikeweekgirlsgonewild.com won't do so well huh?:1orglaugh

mardigras 09-26-2004 09:22 AM
