Anyone here good with men's fashion? I need help

I have a Big date tonight and I want to wear something hot looking, but I have a very flat ass and all of my jeans are baggy in back and have no shape.
It looks really bad, like homeless-bad.

I need to find a brand or pair of jeans that are tight in the back so they fit better.
Can anyone recommend a brand of jeans that fit good? I usually buy gap or old navy shit, but i want something cool looking.
I never buy cool clothed but today I need to, so I need suggestions. thanks

you're fucked. you might as well just stay home and masterbate :1orglaugh

candyflip 09-25-2004 10:09 AM

I picked up a pair recently at Struct...err, Express for Men.

I don't generally like their shit, but these jeans fit like nothing else.

Express for Men is good, for higher end, you might check out Diesel, those jeans are great.

Marcus 09-25-2004 10:12 AM

MOST DIESELS ARE LOW-CUT. THEY LOOK LIKE SHIT ON FLAT ASSES. I SUGGEST YOU WEAR A SUIT.

yeah but those are the standard regular for the mass 80 dollar diesel jeans, not the 300 dollar exclusive ones, those are made to fit and stuff

Nylz 09-25-2004 11:05 AM

Hugo red label

pornJester 09-25-2004 11:06 AM

Try Lucky or Guess.

Ross 09-25-2004 11:14 AM

Diesel, Levis, Replay, or Armani.

Since you never buy cool clothes, I think you should also buy a nice shirt or trendy t shirt to match it also.

polish_aristocrat 09-25-2004 11:15 AM

I ICQ'ed the thread to bdjuf :)

European Lee 09-25-2004 11:16 AM

As mention Diesel jeans are good also a good pair of Donna Karans should have the desired effect you are looking for too :)

If you go with a pair of DK's i would suggest wearing one of their wool sweaters over a white t-shirt also, this will enable you to go out without wearing a jacket and youll still look respectable :2 cents:

The good thing about Donna Karans clothing range is that for the most part they look good regardless of whether you wear sneakers of actual shoes :)

Lee

theres a Banana Republic and an Abercrombie & Fitch near me. are either of those good for jeans?
if not i can just drive into the city for the designer places, but those 2 stores are closer. i dont want to waste my time if theyre not that good.

European Lee 09-25-2004 12:00 PM

BR is reasonable.

I would go with something like dark denims/pants and a pin-stripe shirt.

This seasons colors are khaki browns, greens and 'military green' type colors.

All of those will work well with dark color pants and dress shoes :thumbsup

Lee

Hehe dont worry about opening the buttons ;)

Shirts go stright over your head if you leave the collar button undone ;)

If you get a size slightly larger than you need in pants too they should fall down nicely at the right point ;)

Dont wear a belt though, its horrendous trying to undo a guys belt when you're about to get some :1orglaugh

Lee

don't listen to these ppl telling you to wear a suit.... dress trendy on a date to some where simple .....a suit is for more sophisticated place... you don't wanna look like a goon!

robfantasy 09-26-2004 02:00 AM

well depends on how classy the place is your going... but i am willing to bet its not going to require a sports jacket

Well, if its a nice resturant, I'd wear a suit. If it's the movies, I'd talk to my friend, who spends more money on clothes than on food, to give me a few pointers.

JayJay 09-26-2004 02:05 AM

I wear my bright yellow suit with a banana hanging out the pocket :thumbsup

wes 09-26-2004 02:08 AM

if it were me.... depends on where your going. say out to dinner maybe a movie. wear something casual. I always try to look nice for my girlfriend and for the other girls out there. :winkwink: . i myself have a very nice collection of jeans. I find that I like my low boot cut kenneth cole jeans the best. But I have also got some great pairs from diesel and abercrombie. For a shirt it depends how casual you want to look and your body type. Sometimes I will wear a wife beater under with a nice polo shirt from la coste or polo. A&F have some nice polos as well. I like to keep the polo tight but not too tight. I work out and my body is getting there.. I like it when girls can see the chest through the shirt,(bench baby) most girls love it too. If you want somethign a little more dressy I would say goto express for men. They have some really nice dress shirts and hey a regular long sleeve black dress shirt has never done me wrong. Make sure your kicks match. That is a must. ANd have a ncie watch. Nothing too flashy. I myself have a few watches. A nice movado for 2500 has lasted me or my recently purchased technomarine. They have a nice collection. But say im wearing my short sleeve polo shirt with my diesel or A&F jeans, I would prefer to wear my diesel watch with taht has the leather band. It looks good. Make sure you smell good as well. NO CHEAP COLOGNE! good luck if you wana talk some time. Just pm me and I will give you my icq. or aim. Let me know how it went! Even though this post is probly a little late.:BangBang:
