Not f'ing cool
Man what a day! I take a look at some micro niches that I push
(wondering why I haven't gotten any checks recently) and find that on one VERY focused feeder site that 2 of 3 of the sponsors are screwing around. 1st. Changed billing companies months ago without telling the affiliates. Cool setup with the new processor, take some "exclusive" content to get back into the swing of things. Find out today they're over riding the REVSHARE variable. (probably an over sight, but they are a sizable op and should be able to setup a join link, but 4 months later...) 2nd. Changed billing companies recently. Didn't notify affiliates. STILL has the affiliate signup pointed to the OLD processor. (a well known guy here) Make sure you double check and make weekly site reviews if you are going to use micro niche sites that the big guys just consider their "hobby sites". I figure I'm out about $1300 on just the 1 feeder site. I haven't gotten to the traffic stats on the rest, I'm still to upset to look. |

I don't get why an affiliate program would ever pll that kind of shit (especially "#2") ... just losing money for everyone. -p |
Sorry to hear that :(

Both I would promote their standard sites in a second without
worries. Micro niche, they get dollar signs in their eyes. Find out they don't know the niche, then don't bother to treat the affiliates that do know the niche like they matter. No wonder one was trying to off load the site recently... (Should have been a warning there, but I was seeing the odd old rebill.) Support on a saturday is next to nill, so I'm left with a traffic leak of pure SE/LL of pervs that know exactly what they want. |
everybody fucks around with an idiot :2 cents:
