Do you have something in .htaccess to process the file as .shtml?
Something like this is needed. Options FollowSymLinks AddType text/html .shtml .shtm .htm .html AddHandler server-parsed .shtml .shtm .htm .html |
It has to be enabled in apache as a recognized ect. and it has to be comiled into apache from the start.
Basically if it's not working then they will most likly not install it for you. Several hosts do not support this file type. |

My trade script requires I use .shtml |
Three options.
1. Ask the host to compile it on your server. 2. Use another host for this scripts domain or move everything to a new host. 3. Get another trade script. Sorry but there is no other options. |
