I don't think there's any such thing as "too beautiful". I get really annoyed when some people get ugly models and try to pass them off as good looking. It happens way too often, probably about 50% of the models out there shouldn't be models. They're just some skank the webmaster picked up off the street and agreed to suck a cock for $100 or however much was thrust at her.

i do fine art nude photography... as well as other forms, and it still amazes me that every now and again, fine art photos end up on pr0n sites... not that anything is really wrong w/ it... just kinda funny from a photographers point of view

The only photoshop on that image is facial re-touch. That was straight out of the camera - an RZ67 with an Imacon 11mp back.

I lit the scene with all hotlights. For lighting I used a 4k Mole Solar Spot as the main light with a grid spot (from above down through the silk). I used LTM 400 peppers for the light on the drapes.

I diffused it overhead with a 14' x 14' mole 1/2 stop china silk.

Thats the reason for the smooth wrapping light, why it looks so warm, and why Angel's skin's natural oil shines.

That's old skool even if I am a young punk....lol

Not at all. There is a market for all types of porn.

Look at Andrew Blake films for example. His style of films are the type of porn you can get women who don't even normally watch porn to enjoy.

The super polished look is just another niche. And I do think it is a smaller audience.

(Although I do think women consumer's appreciate the effort more)

Porn is one of those places where the loins rule, not the head's asthetic taste. I know I've had to swallow a lot of pride and use ugly designs and "less beautiful" images because they convert better.

That being said, you do the polished niche WELL. So, yes, too polished for some, just right for your (smaller) target audience.
