They are mainly audiophile items... if any new audio format will take off with any success it will be DVD-Audio, not SACD. But it is definately a sweet domain. -
SACD is bigger than DVD-A but it is unlikely that any will be huge soon. Sony has been rolling back production on SACD this year.
