wire fees

how much does your sponsor charge to wire funds to your account? and will they do it for free if you hit a certain dollar amount? if so, at what point do they do it for free?

usually its amounts over 2k..depends upon the sponsor

Most banks charge $15-$30 to send a wire. I only had wires set up for one sponsor before, MaxCash, and they'd take the fee out of my account. I think that's pretty typical, just charging what it costs them. Your own bank generally charges a fee to receive a wire, too. I just get checks now.

A sponsor I do a lot of business with sends me a check by 2nd day air twice a month, and they don't charge me for that. It's a nice touch.

hahah stop right now if you choose a sponsor while looking at their wire rates hahah

I've never been charged anything, if they are sending me a wire i'd expect them to be ok with taking the tax deduction for it as well.

I think it is reasonable to pay the sponsor $10 bucks for my 5k wires.

We do them for free as long its over 200 bucks :)

Last one I got was for $500... Sponsor charged me 30 and the bank charged me 12.

I think they are trying to avoid checks altogether due to the fees their bank charges for them to cash the check
