Feedback on yambo.biz

Anyone using them? I need feedback on setup speed, service quality, security, and so on, any kind of feedback is much appreciated. Please refrain from posting hear-sayings, post only your own experience. Thanks. :thumbsup

Personally I never have taken much notice of vigilante anti-spam groups who happily blacklist huge IP blocks if they find a single spammer. Idiots like that create for more problems than shitty spam ever has.

Much the same for me. At the time the service was sketchy at best and the features I really needed, which their site seemed to indicate they had, weren't available at the time.

I suppose on the plus side they're still around despite the trolls attacking them when they first appeared.

That doesn't necessarily mean that they're any better now, does it? I know of a competitor of mine who's scammed people for thousands and he's still around, doing the same business.

True enough although in theory it should be a little harder for them to scam as they're UK based and the UK financial regs and controls are a little tighter.

I'm not talking about scamming, I'm talking about poor quality services, poor customer support, stuff like that. Not sure the UK financial regs control those parts.

What I don't understand is how they make money. Free transfers, free debitcard withdrawing etc... that scares me a little.

try http://fethard.biz/ instead

Dirty F 09-24-2004 09:57 AM

Since i know they have a huge kiddie P. background i wont use them anymore.

Anyway like that nerd above me said. Fethard works fine. Just got my plastic card from them on a Chinese name :Graucho

Absoultely useless. Good thing I contacted their support to ask if I can receive wires from clients into the account, nice answer:

Please send message from clients' area describing who are you going to receive transfers from, what sums, how often and for what (most important). Please describe in details. Then we'll consider your request.
Well, some of my clients do send wires from personal accounts, but regardless of that, I need to ask their permission to be able to receive money?!?! WTF, maybe then I'll have to ask them nicely in order to withdraw my money as well, perhaps provide them with detailed descriptions of what I'm gonna do with it? Nice banking service. :321GFY

If you look at their TOS, it says they don't accept customers from the UK. I think that says alot about them.

Their service is kinda anonymous and they won't have to do too much with fraud I guess (people telling eBay buyers to wire and withdraw the money through their card etc.). :2 cents:
