Can anyone solve this brain teaser/logic puzzle?

Psychic investigators Trevor and Mitzi Powers made a recent visit to the reputedly haunted Beauford Mansion. As was their usual routine, the pair spent the entire night in the place. Shortly after dark, paranormal events (cold spot, door slamming, footsteps, ghosts, levitation, lights flickering, moaning, and rapping) began to occur and continued through much of the night. These events took place in 8 different places in the house (billiard room, dining room, hall, library, living room, music room, stairway, and upstairs bedroom). Can you tell the order of these events and the room in which each took place?

1. The 1st event took place in the living room

2. After the first 5 events had taken place on the first floor (including the one in the library), the couple decided to call it a night, but as they made their way up the ornate stairway something else occurred.

3. Trevor managed to doze for a few minutes in the upstaris bedroom was quickly jarred awake when Metzi was levitated seven feet off the bed; the loud rapping was the next occurence.

4. The Powerses noticed the lights flickering on and off (which was especially worrisome since the electricity had been discontinued for months) sometimes after the incident in the billiards room.

5. The consecutive events were the incident in the dining room, the eerie footsteps, and the discovery of a cold spot.

6. Just after they heard the terrible moaning sound, the copule went to the music room to relax but something there frightened them to another area of the house (not the dining room), where a door slammed loudly.



Basically I need to know which incident happened first and where (what part of the house it happened in), and what happened second and where... there are 8 incidents in total... My head hurts so much... And this is for a philosophy class, please help!

Was on my way solving it, made a table and stuff.. but apparently I made one small mistake, so it wasn't correct :(
