ok no problem thanks for all your advice. just wondering though how does overture work then and how can you tell if its a good domain cause as an example
i purchased toygamehobby.com if you type that in on overture it gets results like MAD. 147k + but its spaced toy game hobby, so maybe it has to be not spaced to get real results? |
I always find it funny so many peopel are so ignorant when ti comes to domains.
That's just like making a post: Hi, i want to make a TGP, but do i need a script? LOL. How to find a good script and how to do trades? And does the host install script for me, or do i have to do it. Dunno. :-)) |
And honestly...Overture tool isn't perfect, but when you are using it and are looking for good domains ( when it comes to type-in traffic ), you should type in the whole domain with the extension in the Overture tool. If the result is 0, then the domain is rather worthless, at least when it comes to traffic.

Weird, when I put "toygamehobby.com" into overture it gives me no suggestions.
"No suggestions for toygamehobby.com" You must be on crack. |
no, when you type "toy game hobby"
|
lanc, general tips: overture will often turn plurals to singulars when you query their search term database, the word order they display is not always meaningful (they may list "guide study" instead of "study guide"), and they omit certain short words like "and" and "the" (so a searchterm query for "toy and hobby" shows results for "toy hobby"). Emma gives you one clue, but for lower-volume terms the main thing is you have to use some common sense in conjunction with overture results. "Studiesguide.com", you just hear it, and know it sucks, no need for an overture database. (Helps if English is your native tongue...this is a lot harder for people with a weaker grasp on the language). Keep trying though, you're learning.
|
Thanks for your post! Yeah I do see error now in thinking that could actually be something, but as you said I'm learning and I am very thankful for your post, I will keep learning and swallow all the information I learn and bypass all the bumps in the road and reach my goals and succeed. :)

Why don't you save up all the reg fees on these worthless domains you keep registering and pay off the winner of the logo contest you never paid.
|
No suggestions for studiesguide.com.
