I wonder what PayPal's chargeback ratio is?
I recently got ripped off on a personal purchase on EBay. PayPal's "Buyer Protection" was completely useless to me because it only applies until 30 days after the payment and it requires the buyer to work with the seller to resolve the issue first. But because it was an international shipment, the 30 days expired by the time I did the right thing and worked with the seller until it was clear that the item was never going to arrive.
So then I tried to call Paypal about it, but ended up in automated telephone answerring system hell. So now I've intitiated a chargeback through my bank's Visa folks. It makes me wonder what PayPal's c/b ratio is with Visa. On my site with CCBill my c/b ratio is 0.1% - those fuckers at EBay/PayPal have got to be higher than that. It's pretty sad that the adult industry is being treated so harshly regarding billing lately, when between myself, my helper and CCBill we provide much better customer service and complaint resolution than fucking, non-adult, PayPal. |
I had to do a chargeback with them too because of someone that ripped me off. Funny how once the chargeback came through they investigated immediately and got things settled with the scammer. If they would have given me that option to begin with I wouldn't have done the chargeback.
But I guess they get the last laugh because 6 months or so later they closed my account. :1orglaugh |
