How did you first make money off the web???

Here's mine:

Back in 97 I figured out how to rank web pages high in AltaVista results since they used to index pages instantly as you submit them.. A company paid me $300 a month and I had them #1 results for keywords 'auction' and 'computer auction'. Not bad considering I was only 15 at the time. If only I could go back in time knowing what I know now. ahhhhhhhhhhh

made a pk copy in word and made some bucks from xpics.. wish I was 10 years older with money at the time internet rocked..

+ sexyhost free hosting + boogie listings + xpays = a few bucks = got motivated to do this full time

first money was with my tuner shop out in Baton Rouge. :thumbsup

1995.... I was running a free bikini site that had some decent traffic. Some guy offered to pay me $1k for a banner to his preggo site. He sent me a check, and I put it up there for a month. Worked so well the next month he gave me $2k for two banners. This went on for about six months.

I was hooked.

When I was 16 I made a few bucks out of my soccer site.

I made my first cash refering webmasters to ARS via a webmaster page on my personal site. It was some good cash at the time. :thumbsup

newsgroup posting + Xpics = $$$$

iFriends cam whore. It was awesome.

First cash i made was custom programming (have no clue what it was anymore)

Back in 96, soph in high school, I ran a decent sized internet security site. First money I made was through Amazon.com's affiliate program, made like 80 bucks or so.

Now I'm about to graduate college, have my own corporation, and am ready to start full-time. I love my job!

I forgot :(

Real $$$ flow started with ifriends, dialerking & mtree though.

Back in 99 with those "pay to surf" and "pay for click" programs. I had a small network of home pc's running like 40 of those programs each with auto surf progs. It was so sweet :Graucho

I sold an ad, I can't even remember what, pretty early on, on my goth webzine I ran in highschool back in like '96. Wasn't a lot of money, though.

I did design.. not adult then adult.

A site called 'Amateur Hardcore' set up an affiliate program they paid good then Serge paid me a fortune.

I thank god for Scott PB, John Atherton and all the other Austrailians. The big money in porn was made in Austrailia not America.

My first check was in 1997 from some site called Age Check aka CyberAge. It was a regular sized check though. I thought they would send me a huge one like they do on TV when people win the lottery or a golf tournament. But no, just a regular sized check. I bought beer with it.

So the equation is:
AgeCheck = CyberAge = Beer

Couldn't believe it was real, $70 for doing almost nothing.

I made about $5 with Spedia in 2000 :D

We were running some pretty good size bbs's and when I got on usenet in 94 We were selling like 300 or so adult cdrom titles.

Within a few months we were doing over 6 figs a month in sales. Usenet was good:)

But the first money I made fro the net was from a small mainstream affiliate program, PPC. I was 14 yo.

my first sale was two or three years ago it was through a tgp i was running at the time saltyjohnson.com i sold one of those fake play pussies i was kinda suprised i didn't think anyone would actually buy something like that at the time

I remember being like WOW this is awesome.. when I saw ClickTrade (mainstream PPC/PPS network) Anybody else remember them?

All advantage was the first money I made form the web although I'm not sure they ever paid me.

The first money from a site was porn in '98 or '99 - I lose track. Possibly with adult check or sexkey.
