Google Adwords stopped accepting adult keywords. Just received an e-mail
 

Strange. Anyone know why they decided to cancel/remove all adult keywords?

Right now, only mainstream ad campaigns are accepted.

It's going to be more business for overture I guess.

Do you see any ads? Those keywords used to have 1000 pages of ads.

That's what I'm hearing as well. Technical problems, working on being resolved now. Seems a little more than technical to be honest though, only seems like adult keywords are affected since regular searches are working fine.

If you are an adult advertiser check if your kw's had strange HIGH clickthrough rates for today before they stopped... I think adult kw's suffered a hitbot attack of large proportions and google stopped adult ads as prevention.

Our AdWords stopped too but we didn't get any email so I am going to go with cafeaulait and adamorgasm on the technical glitch.

there was something weird with adult ads 2 days ago.. not sure about today.
we made 5x the norm selling traffic to google than normal

I'm guessing you're using AdSense. If that's the case, then check out some of the IP's. Willing to bet there was a lot of proxy traffic the last day or two. It would make sense because the percentage clickthroughs have soared several fold for me.
