went to Timmins,Ontario with my best friend and his step dad to help with putting up drywall in one of his places, his step dad who is cousin of shania twain, we were also suppose to go meet her and her grandparents who also live in Timmins, me and my friend were online on the so popular chat "POWWOW" we were automatically hooked, made fun of fat chicks, downloaded the howard the duck blowjob .wav file, we skipped going to see shania twain at her home for this. from that day on I begged my dad to buy a computer and he said wtf do i need one of them for, why would i want to talk to ppl online, i cant type, etc etc.. we got one for christmas and the computer became his... my parents actually broke up for a couple weeks first time ever, cause my dad spent to much time on the computer.

We did the bbs thing on our Commodore 64 long before I was on the "internet".

I guess the first time was around 1990 when my boyfriend logged me into the usenet via his employer. We read all the alt.sex newsgroups. LOL!

Fucksakes 09-23-2004 01:36 PM

when my parents got their first dialup internet account I spent my days on irc, and reading shit on how to be a hacker, getting into pornsites for free, all that gay crap.

phogirl69 09-23-2004 04:21 PM

I was probably 22 I think or maybe 21.. and using AOL...I didn't know how to use "internet explorer" for over a year, I was only comfortable using the aol browser :helpme

I would enter my e-mail EVERYWHERE, and so excited when I came home from work to check all my mail and read all the spam! Back then I didn't know it was "spam", I thought it was cool that someone actually e-mailed me and I would go visit all the sites. I didn't know how to copy and paste so I would type in the url letter by letter....

I was also trying to figure out how to download music and couldn't figure out how to do that for months... I became addicted
to the internet and would stay on-line ALL night and only sleep 1 hr... and go to work like that the next day... It was really pathetic...

I also used to go into AOL chat rooms and chat with lots of guys in there.... :helpme

Yea, the worst was that I was so retarded I couldn't figure out my own e-mail address, I asked a strange guy in chatroom what my e-mail address would be if my screen name was such and such... I didn't know how to do the "@" thing and that you had to put a .com at the end... I've learned so much since then! (I hope)

crockett 09-23-2004 04:40 PM

haha I remember way back then this dude was trying to help me fix something on my PC over ICQ... he was telling me to open up windows explorer... so I had open internet explorer and was like what folders.. I don't see any folders.

zzgundamnzz 09-23-2004 04:44 PM

Damn had like AOL 2.0 on a floppy disk... hooked it up on my top of the line 33.6 modem :thumbsup

But I hated the constant disconnects.

Shooter 09-23-2004 04:47 PM

Using CompuServe when I was like 13 or so...amazing how much time I spent there with as little as there was to do back then
