The Greatest Song Of All Time

If there is a greatest song of all time I think my vote would go to "A Day In The Life" by The Beatles. That song is great.

Joe Citizen 09-23-2004 05:00 AM

agreed

Reak 09-23-2004 05:03 AM

agreed

Apache_A 09-23-2004 05:07 AM

I don't think you could ever name a greatest song... but if you could it would be that one in NinjaSteves PornDVDDollars banner

Paul Markham 09-23-2004 05:12 AM

A day in the life is probably the best, but I never tire of listening to Hendrix play All along the Watch Tower.

Kristian 09-23-2004 05:14 AM

Imagine by John Lennon.

(Which reminds me, the motherless bastard-fucker who killed John gets out soon. I hope someone shoots him)

Jakke PNG 09-23-2004 05:18 AM

Queen has some fucking awesome tunes.

SpaceAce 09-23-2004 05:30 AM

I think it's ridiculous to even try and name a "greatest song of all time". There are a few Great Songs but there is no Greatest Song.

Nicky 09-23-2004 05:34 AM

Very hard to say......

Sarah_Jayne 09-23-2004 05:46 AM

It is certainly one of the best but I have to say that songs are very personal things so I don't think there is one right answer. I have a faveorite song but from day to day my view on waht the greatest song is may change depending on mood.

Roald 09-23-2004 05:51 AM

Yeah, there are definately a number of great songs, but something about this one particular song sets it apart from the rest. :2 cents:

Way too hard to name the greatest song of all time, too many. I would say the only song that Ive heard for sooooo long, that I could still listen to and never get bored of "One" by U2. Awsome song :)

Corleone 09-23-2004 08:30 AM

there are so many great songs

IYP_Mich 09-23-2004 08:32 AM

There are so many great songs but I think Bob Dylan's ''Like a Rolling Stone'' wins the title.

Minte 09-23-2004 08:35 AM

LZ's Stairway to Heaven has to be in that list.

Yeah, that's a good one too. Free Bird is another one that belongs up near the top.

CDSmith 09-23-2004 04:00 PM

Just about every "top 500" or "top 100" song lists I've ever heard on the radio has always had spots #1 and #2 as....

Stairway to heaven
Hey Jude

They are interchangeable for the #1 spot.

Yeah, when VH1 did the "official" top 100 songs of all time a few years back Stairway to Heaven was number 1, but the Beatles had like 11 in the top 25 alone.

Persius 09-23-2004 04:06 PM

Queen Bohemian rhapsody for sure!
