creating your own mailing list
 

Listbot.com is shutting down their services in late August, and I want to create a monthly newsletter that I can submitter out to opt-in subscribers.

Does anybody know of any free services that offer something like this? Or any tips in running a monthly newsletter?

As an alternative hit cgi-resources.com and find a script to do it for you!

I just setup this mailing list last month, seems to work pretty good and was fairly simple to install (I think...lol). Script From CGI-Factory

I installed PHP List yesterday and it only took about 10 minutes. If you have paid hosting, setting up your own mailing list is the way to go.

I'd recommend Power List. I switched to it from ListBot.

We have non-nude sites but I was making AVS sites before that, so I'm not a complete newbie.
