Galleries opening in new windows or not? Which is more surfer friendly?
 

Personally I prefer to have galleries on a MGP/TGP open in a new window so you can look at em then click close etc and you dont lose the mgp etc... I dont like having to click back.

However I am a seasoned surfer... a lot of the biggest tgps - hun sleazy shemp worldsex etc dont open galleries in new windows so Im wondering what the consensus is?

It increases your traffic a lot if you open in new windows (if you're trading).

well the site I am running doesnt have any trades at all - im trying to make it as surfer friendly as possible.

yep, godfather is right :) when you trade = new window, you should make your sites $$$ friendly, not surfer friendly ;)

If you're trading - new window otherwise it doesn't matter.

No trades - same window (they know where the back button is)
Skimming gals - new window (let them see shit, but keep your site handy for more clicks)
Top List links - same window (better productivity on that site)

i much prefer a shemp page reload over opening a gallery in a new window... :thumbsup

k thanks - I guess no new window is best then if I have no trades.
