Ive been looking for an mp3 player, i order one online on the 10th. i figure that with all the classes im taking this semester and the difficulty of them, it would help a lot if i could record some of the lectures..

well i figure since its coming by UPS, it will be here in 3-4 days. wrong! it fucking arrives today. not only that, the assholes dont even leave it here (i live on campus), instead they take it back for some reason, and deliver it again the next day.

Then i get a notice saying i owe them $50 for COD.. WHAT THE FUCK.. the fucking mp3 player was like $100, i fucking owe them $50 for delivering the god damn thing? wtf is this bullshit

dude try buying a 750$ speaker system, and them charging you 250$ for customs / charges

am i not supposed to be aware id have to pay fucking 50% on top of my god damn purchase?

not only that, it was $100 us, thast like $130 canadian.. so i end up paying like 80% on top of the item price

i could have gone to the nearest fucking futureshop and picked one up for $115, but i figure i might as well use some of my paypal cash and get it delivered to me in like 3 days.

same here i bought something worth $800 in the US thru internet and it wasn't deliver to me but it was detained at the customs and they're asking me to pay tax amounting to $400, wtf . . .. .

now it was forfeited, i wasn't able to claim the said stuffs . . .. fucking customs . . .. . . now for sure they have those and using it

Avoid UPS at all cost when ordering from the US. I think they are the only ones that tax on brokerage fees.

and I mistook the shipping package with my 40gb MP3 player, which they charged me 150-250$, I really don't remmeber

No, Fedex fucked me over. $460 taxes on a $300 item. They've put $3000 as value by mistake, now they won't refund.

i call the fucking assholes up and ask em where my package is.

so im put on hold for like 25 mins, they call up the station.. and THEY CANT FIND MY FUCKING PACKAGE

what the fuck do i do? they said theyll find it by tomorrow

their excuse for the excessive price is because you shipped with a cheaper shipping method, if you choose the more expensive (and fasterone) it would of been a little lower.

I ordered a jersey online. Price was 50 bucks U.S. They delivered via UPS and the guy asked me for $49 bucks at the door. So I pay the $49 bucks. A month later I get a notice from UPS saying that they discovered they undercharged me and requested another $50 bucks. I told them they would have to kill me first before I paid another 50 bucks.

i stopped going there after they think they have the right to open your boxes and tell you that you didnt pack your packages right. i go to fed ex and havent ever had any problems, and they're cheaper too.

it's UPS - you need to chill out - this is the way things always are - what do you expect, totally painless, error-free shipments? Not gonna happen - Fedex is slightly better but I don't know about their international shipping.

Check to see if the sender filled out the customs forms correctly. If they didn't then charge it back.

50$ for an item like that would be pretty close to the max customs is allowed to charge + brokerage.
