They could make the argument that they're only developing nukes to protect their national security, and when it comes to national security they don't need anyone's permission. It worked for Bush.

Wait, Im confused,

Its not ok for iran to have nuclear weapons but it is ok for the US to give Israel weapons? So Israel is the only country in that reagion that can have any weapons?
