Jail sucks balls, I've never been arrested before last Saturday

Tell us about your relationship with your father. We can help you!!!!

You need to get help for that rage. I'm not being cocky nor poking fun. That's serious.

My cousin got charged with assault with a weapon when he threw a chair at someone and it hit them in the face. He just got probation. That was in Canada though.

Maybe the stepdad deserved it; we don't know the circumstances under which he attacked the man. Leave the boy alone. :(
I know a guy that killed his stepdad and NEVER spent a night in jail... He was an abuser and rapist, but still.. Sometimes things come to a head and the law understands that. I hope this isn't the case, and I certainly don't condone violence. Good luck. :thumbsup |

Violent crimes are ok now. Just don't get caught with a joint or open beer then you'll be in serious shit.

some people are just unhappy and negitive, i'll actually pray for him tonight and the circumstances were him being violent towards me and me retaliating, just so everyone knows and neither of us live or have ever lived in a trailor or apartment ;) |

$540 for a felony? where the hell do you live?
My bails have always ranged between $10,000-50,000 |
Dude, get some therapy fast. Threatening anyone with a knife is not good, and likely to get worse and you'll end up in jail for a long time. It's not worth it..
|
Something doesn't add up right. A $540 bail for a class "C" felony that involves a dangerous weapon.
Explain? :eek7 |
Do u mean u paid 540 total or u paid 540 thru a bail bonds company and that was just 10%.
For a class C felony it can't possibly be $540 total bail. |
Been arrested before. Never been thrown in jail, though.

yup, jail fucking sucks.
Earlier this year I was arrested for aggravated arson and manufacture of a delayed incendiary device. http://www.kalb.com/servlet/Satellit...75415058&path=!news!localnews made the news and 3 local papers, made the front page of one of them. the media = all fucking lies. they misprinted so many things its not even funny. they misprinted my name, the date my friend was arrested on, they said we were trying to kill someone, they said someone was in a boathouse near by when there was NO ONE around. just proof that the media will hype up anything to sell a paper. i bailed myself out for $500, they bail was $5000 but i called a bail bondsmen and paid 10%. I went and talked to the DA and he put me on this thing called PTI. I have to pay $1,100 in legal fees and its pretty much probation without any drug tests or probation officer. I got put on PTI for 10 months. if i fuck up any time during the 10 months, the felonies go back on my record and I will serve time. I will be a free man July 1st 2005. |

Still doesn't add up with what you described I can assure you they would throw on Domestic Violence charges not just the "Criminal Threatening with Dangerous Weapon".
:eek7 |

Like I said, all my arrests ranged between $10-50k - which would be $1-5k to the bail bondsman |

I was once questioned and nearly arrested for making death threats, but I weaseled my way out of it by using NLP on the cops. :1orglaugh

Don't want to say.....did 4 years :(

Yes and it's a funny story.
In 1969 I was hitch hiking around Europe and one evening got dropped off in the middle of nowhere, near Munich, in the middle of the night. So decided to get off the motorway (freeway) pitch my tent and sleep the night. In the morning I opened the tent and saw I had camped near a stream, so took off clothes, got my soap and proceeded to the stream for a wash. I also removed my glasses, which make me nearly blind. After 10-15 minutes I can hear a siren and a few minutes later am being shouted at by two German policemen. I told them I was English, as if this is an excuse for being mad, and asked what the problem was. They pointed behind me, so I turned around to look at what they were pointing at. It seems I had wandered into someone?s back garden and was naked washing myself for all to see. It was an old peoples home. My belongings and I were thrown into the back of the van and I spent a few hours in jail. Later when the police officer came to interview me I was surprised at how well he spoke English and wanting to get on his good side commented that he spoke very good English. He told me he had learnt while he lived in England for three years. So I asked him "Business or pleasure". He replied "I was a prisoner of war 1942 to 1945" I had visions of staying Germany for a long time. After a few more hours he returned and said that if his officers take me back to the motorway would I promise not to return? I agreed. |
never, don't plan too.. some ppl here scare me though.. except Charly, that is funny ;)

Umm . . . piece of advice?
Stop going around admitting the crime. |

Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. :1orglaugh Well nearly. |
You need to explain to the judge that you were having a very hard week work wise and then the step dad thing made you explode.
If you really want to do your self a favor. Enroll in an anger managment course now. BEFORE the judge tells you to. Then show him the proof. Tell him you are not sure if you actually need the course, but you figured that it would not hurt. Makes you look like you realize that there could be a problem |
