Ever stain a deck?
 

I started to tackle the deck of my house this Sunday. Yeah... two people... 6 hours.... it's 50% done. Talk about a lot of repetition! The most difficult part I've found are the little areas that you have to use a brush for.

Before I sold my house in Cape Cod, I used to stain the 2 decks it had every summer...

Wasnt that big of a deal, why its taking you 6 hours to only do half? Slacker..

It's not too bad to do, sanding it first is the pain.

I'm a perfectionist. It's a brand new color too.

i know some guys can that stain a nice size deck in about 3 hours MAX with clean up

Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy one of those pestacide pump sprayers (about 20 bucks) and load the stain into it and then spray the whole deck in a couple hours including every nook and crannie :thumbsup

Only problem is that way your spending all your time covering shit and backrolling...
