Try buying Imitrex. 9 pills for $165

Even paying almost $300 a month for health insurance I still end up ahead with my $25 prescription co-pay. :)

Doesn't knock me out AT ALL! In fact, that's one of the main benefits - there are no pain killers/narcotics in it.

Maybe she's taking something in addition to it? Or her headache's been so bad that when the Imitrex hits, she can finally get some sleep :(

I used to take it in "Shot Form" about 10 years ago now. Cost $75 per dosage back then.

AnalProbe 09-20-2004 08:19 AM

Guys, you really don't need all that crap.

Don't get fooled by some "scientifically approved" doctor.

Antibiotics kill more than you know, you're just there to test their shit.

Look for alternatives, and educate yourself.

Saves you a LOT of money and you will feel much better also.

Just my :2 cents:

Yeah, I was taking those shots back then too and had NO insurance :(

But Imitrex is the ONLY thing that's ever helped after almost 30 years of migraines. Even the other triptans don't do diddly. If I have to live in a box I'll buy Imitrex :thumbsup

Wow, I didn't even know they had generic Imitrex! I'll have to check and see if my insurance has a lower co-pay for generic and give it a try if it does - thanks :)

I have a ton of biaxin's at my home actually. Mom is a doctor and you should see the amount of this stuff I have, seriously closets full. If you need anymore, let me know and I'll bring some up next time I go to a convention.

Yeah the Doc gave me Biaxin last month when I had an ear infection. I don't have insurance so he was cool and gave me a week's worth of free samples.

Unfortunately it didn't work and when I went back he prescribed me something else....can't remember the name of it....it started with an A, it had amoxicillin and something else in it....that shit cost $9 a pill.

Yeah i should start my own med company and make new meds...i am in the wrong biz :(

GiantGnome 09-20-2004 08:32 PM

sure you can take care of it the natural way but who can handle all that coughing sweating and high fever and no sleep for 3 weeks? Getting the antibiotics seems to be the better choice.

GiantGnome 09-20-2004 08:32 PM

which by the way i get broncitis every year:(
