She's stalled out in that general area by a deep low that will keep the storm "on pause" as it were. However, while having nothing to do but do doughnuts in the Atlantic, this storm will gain strength before heading north Saturday/Sunday. I'd still be keeping an eye on this thing, especially if I lived in coastal Georgia/Carolinas.

At the moment, it looks like Karl is going to be a non-threat, which is good. It's going to stay out in the middle of the ocean. :)

I for one hopes he does.

Elena back in 85 I think did a similar little corckscrew maneuver in the Gulf. Crazy storms.

Yep, Elena went all the way down the coast and back again before deciding to head in.
