Interesting thought. There are services out there that charge you to protect your sites against attacks as well as hosting companies that promote the fact that they protect their clients. Kinda makes one wonder if one of them wouldn't start ddos attacking large sites to drum up biz.

A DDos attach has to be the most annoying thing that can happen. You feel so friggen helpless. I have been through them and couldn't handle not being able to "fix" it right away.

The bad news is that this is going to become more and more common. With viruses, adware, and spyware..... it will become easier to command a large amount of computers to provide such attacks. I have a college education in computers and I recently got hit with adware that I could not get rid of (format c:). There are millions and millions of computer users out there that have no clue of what their computer is really doing.

What I did was remove the domain from the DNS system.
Like CANfind.net still is from constant SMTP hijacking.

They have to fix the internet.
And the WHOIS dbase.

Every email address in the WHOIS dbase should be an INVITATION ONLY EMAIL ADDRESS - registered with the WHOIS DBASE.

I am tired of getting spam to email addresses that only exist in the whois dbase - fucking tired.
