I use my old shitty computer for message boards/practicing programs etc for more security.

You could enable mac filtering as well for even more security :1orglaugh

macs are the best if you have one u probably dont have to worry! XP has a built in firewall that I hear is ok too but I dont know how the hell to use it
my six year old nephew told me that his computer was less hackable then mine because he has a mac :)

lol i don't think he was talking about the computer (MAC). he's talking about the MAC (Media Access Control) address that every Ethernet/Wireless Network Card has. Probably would be the best way to filter who is authorized to use the network.

Im bumping this thread for two reasons, well 3 my friend sent it to me ..2 for everyone whos on a wireless network ud be surprised who doesnt know and yes I know I dont even protect this computer and Im manually fighting off hackers...
but mostly because I missed when Brandon said that ROFL is it the first time?? You paid me and helped me out so Im cool with you but really u could have told me when I talked to u on ICQ to take my sig off so I didnt have 50 people laugh at me.. :)
