Eye Exams (Funny)
 

I broke my glasses a few weeks ago, and since I have extended wear disposables contacts I don't usually waer, I just figured I'd use them up before I go for a new exam and all. I don't really have the extra dough, anyway.
Sooo, I've been wearing the contacts, and they fucking suck. They irritate my eyes when I'm around smoke, and my husband smokes, so I'm around it a lot; they itch and burn and cloud up and make my eyelids irritated from me rubbing them...they just suck in every possible way.
Last night I took the wire out of a bread tie, got out the glue gun, and hot glued the broken glasses together with the wire for stability, just so I could see to work for ONE night without rubbing my eyes raw every two seconds. (Yeah, that's pretty funny, but that's not what the point it.)
Here I sit, with my jerry rigged glasses, looking online for cheap glasses, and I find a place that sells prescription glasses for $19. I'm thinking, my old glasses were fine....I wonder what the script is.:Graucho Maybe I can slide by without going to see the eye doctor until we recover from all the rain that equals lost hours for my husband. But I can't find my script; all I know is that my vision is about 20/80 in both eyes. So I run a search to see if there is anyplace on the net that can estimate my script by my 20/80 figure, and I find one, but the whole thing has got me wondering if there is a website that has an online eye exam that can give you an idea of what your vision is, so I run a search on that, and I find THIS .
