does Norton Internet Secur. slow down your pc?
 

im just debating if i should keep it on my system.
When i have it running, for some reason pages load slower.

yea pages load a little slower, you can really tell if you disbable and refresh the page you were just viewing

but its great as far as protecting your pc

Every program running in the background will slow your PC down. Norton (or any antivirus/security program) especially because it is doing an extra scan on everything that flows in to your computer.

Norton is so irratating.

tried it before and surely eating lots of processing resources, ended up uninstalling the whole thing.

I'm using Avast. Works good 4 me!

It's kept the viruses off for a very long time:)

People who use Norton are idiots and deserve to be on a computer that is as slow as they are.
