Using Firefox browser?

It's pretty damn nice once you figure it out -- extensions etc. Anyone else using it?

Firefox is great browser!

Open source, I love it!

People develop for it, lots of themes, addons, etc! Great browser!

Back in the days when it was phonix I preffered opera, now I use opera too but mostly for forums.

Firefox is like IE without 101 million security holes. Apparently they found one, but I don't think enough people use this browser yet to make hackers really want to target it.

Does pretty much everything IE does... and that is a good thing.

Netscape 7.1, looks very much the same as FireFox since both are programmed using Mozilla technology.

not really much of a difference. both installed in my PC but i oftenly use NS.

Cman 09-18-2004 09:00 AM

You are gay if you use anything other than Firefox. Thats it.

Especially if you use Opera or Netscape

woj 09-18-2004 09:01 AM

SmokeyTheBear 09-18-2004 10:33 AM

firefox has huge open holes allowing the ultimate exploit "installing an exe" Something that i.e. has covered at the present time..

two things keep me from using firefox...

1) no IEspell plug in

2) no image alt tags

johndoebob 09-18-2004 10:41 AM

I love it, the only thing you have to do is add the "new tab" button otherwise tabbed browsing isn't that good.

Speaking of Fire Fox; how do I get these damn tabs to STAY open - instead of closing everytime I close a browser window??
