Using DRM to create opt-in email lists. $$$$ GET YOUR SLICE OF THE PIE $$$$
I'm looking to create sets of opt-in email lists using drm.
I'm looking for a partner to run the email side of things. I will handle the drm and the video i need someone to host the email portion of the deal.. example.. i host and encode the video it pops up "your" page to get the license, the user submits his email and is given the url to aquire the license in the confirmation email. The opt-in list is shared between us and profit split 50/50. Although not needed to be u.s. based , must meet and exceed spam laws in the u.s. drop your icq or email and what you can offer... |
interesting.........
|
I was doing this 2 years ago...
Its been known for 3 years. One company made fucking killing and to this day... No one knows who it was... Well. Cept a few. Where you been>? |
Why not do it all yourself?
Just curious. |

they were selling oil 2 years ago ?? are you telling me oil is outdated ??? drm allows full logs of users who aquire license * like proof they agreed to agree to recieve email * |

maybe once a week . I Dont work in that area at all. dabbled here and there, and i have no doubt i could learn, but.... easier to find someone who already has a headstart. drm may have been around for ages. Clever ideas how to use them have not.. Did you know drm wndows are not covered by sp2 popup protection,, nor are any of the pages they spawn...etc etc |
good idea man, verrrrrrry interesteing.. how will u be spreading the drm files
|
Smokey why are you posting this shit?
Your a fucking retard you know that? |

This may be old news for some, but in a small test trial using my own webforms, the potential using my own methods are amazing. Especially considering sp2 doesnt patch obvious security problems due to the fact drm runs the popups from inside your own security zones. Making the drm usage seem all the more popular right now.. |

Free videos that dont start popping up the need for licenses till a certain amount of views or a time period a skill testing question, a survey etc etc the videos will circulate themselves * they do * |

When you release a juicylinks movie you could drm encode it so that you must signup for juicycash to view the video. :) cool eh.. |

Mutt,
If you think you know connections or who owns what company then speak.. if you don't please shut up. As for quantities of servers: It's a different animal to mail out optin emails with moderation and allowing people to subscribe or unsubscribe versus a wacky spam program on an pentium box + adsl connection. We have choosen a setup that we started building years ago which happens to work for us. It's a high end solution for mass volume, whitelisted by the big networks. Pretty funny to see the kids post here that have 12 visitors/day |
I'm sure you've found a solution by now, but if not there's contact info in my sig. :thumbsup

''i get email from a bighip client, and the emails are always in my yahoo bulk box''
new clients move after 60 day to whitelist .. this to avoid scammers. Count of complaints in first 60 day will determine whilelist or not. To be decided per client .. very similar to visa approval procedures these days ;-) |

Clearly they have agreements with larger ISP dude, if what they are saying is true. There are only a handful of pople that have agreements with large ISP's and those few battled tooth and nail to get those agreements. |
Well it seems going to sleep didn't help this thread slide into oblivion. Not like its an industry sceret, but i think there is a HUGE new market for this, for those with a vision.
Those who posted from icq, i will respond later today.. |

As far as emails getting stolen: Our tech team would say: impossible. Firewalled environment, all data encrypted. Only one main cto guy has access to the real data and he also happens to be a shareholder so no benefit in stealen from the inside. Equipment in safe environment etc. We've been checked out big fortune500 companies,, references available per email, not per GFY post. |
