Anyone in here use IRC? (mIRC)
 

I was just wondering how many in here use IRC clients on a regular basis?

Personally i use it to keep in touch with friends and fellow designers - but i was just wondering if this was used in any way in the adult business?

used to go on sextracker irc for a bit, few good peeps on there, just got pulled away from work too much with the silly talk and gossip

how secure does a chat need to be? anyways there are plenty of ways to make irc safe. You can make it waaaaaay safer than for instance ICQ.

i use it all the time with a bunch of gamer buddies of mine. we used to competitively game about 4 years ago. not much time for it anymore, but we still make up lies and talk shit in irc ;).

is this sextracker channel still around? I'm in seattle, wouldn't mind getting to know a few of those guys.

i used to chill on irc all the time than most of the good channels became corrupted with spammers and virii senders and fuggin a few of the good networks got shutdown it just aint worth the hassle anymore

met my husband on irc 9 years ago and i still have friends I chat to there from time to time.

used to be on it 24x7 and run bots and all .. like 6 or 8 years ago. crazy. been a long time. except i didn't use mirc, i used epic, then bitchx.. on linux and freebsd boxes, boy that was fun when the first windows exploits starting coming out sending blue screens to everyone.. wheeeee

I use irc for my ut2004 clan... thats about it.

i do i go in #freebsd and my local channel

use it since 98.. that's for chatting with my friends though.. :)

i use irc as well... should get a chan started... #gfy maybe?
