I used to collect hockey cards when I was a kid, then I went onto magic cards, then "pogs" got hot anyone remember that? started collecting those. Now I started collecting movies...

I guess I've been collecting cologne lately, which isn't too bright considering they have a shelf-life of 3-4 years max.

I'm sure lots of ppl here collect domain names :P

I'm just interested in collecting things that have a real money value.

Stamps are cheap and down the drain no investment.

Coins are ok, lots of stuff with real value and real improvement possibilities avaible.

Pins - no clue I don't think there's much money involved.

I used to collect video games but I sold most stuff.Neo Geo was a real gold mine.

Collecting is the search for perfection and completion and I don't think you can reach that in the domain area :winkwink:

I just own lots of domains because I'm an opportunity geek - that means if I think there's any possibility to make good money with a site on that domain I'll get it :thumbsup

I collect clothing. Not intentially, of course. I didn't realize how bad it was until my boyfriend walked into my closet last night for the first time. He counted my jeans. I've got 35 pairs of jeans hanging in there. And that doesn't include the dress pants or slacks, nor does it include the jeans folded on the shelves. It's disgusting.

I have over 1200 now single dispensers, and only god knows how many non-dispeners there are in my boxes

I told my mother when I was 16 that I liked collecting them and ever since I get a ton of them at xmas. I stopped taking them out of the packaging at about 22..wish I had earlier but hey. The automatic dispenser (circle shaped) was fun for shooting pez at my sister when I was younger.

I collect baseball cards, coins, and antique bottles.

The coins and cards are for my son when he grows up, and the bottles are mine.

Been collecting antique glass since I was 12 years old, when I was younger (and had time) I used to go on digs at these old homesteads and mining camps up in Northern New Mexico. I've amassed quite a collection of extremely rare bottles over the years. It is a an interesting feeling to own something that only 10 or 20 other people in the world own.

I don't think it makes you a nerd, I think collecting is a sign of maturity :2 cents:

Also comic books.

Now I collect people who love me, businesses and money, much cooler shit and worth way more.

I used to collect comic books, but mostly to read them so wasn't exactly a collector. I did do a lot fo buying/selling/trading though and also worked in a comic shop.

Once I have a big enough place, I will definately devote a room to medieval artifacts, weaponry, armors and the like.

Just don't have space right now to continue buying any...they'd just go in storage which is a waste ;/

i used to collect special edition canadian coins. mountie quarters, provincial quarters, centennial coins, WWII edition nickels, etc.

i still have it all except a few of the newer quarters, but i don't actively collect them.

i also have a large foreign coin collection that was part of my inheritance from my grandfather.
