LOL - who knows about this? Some guy got the entire outfield section at Dodger stadium for two games when the Giants are in town in hopes to make a few bucks - there are two good stories on this.

They were pissed because at first he was not going to fill the seats. He had 500 of his friends and family he was going to scatter around the entire section and that was going to be it. That would have looked bad for the Dodgers so they threatened to let people in there for free if he was not going to fill a certian % of the seats - thats why he started to sell the seats.

One of the articles also said the Dodgers would never let this happen again.

I am sure it also has something to do with profit for them. When they sell bulk seats like that they go for a discount - I think it said somewhere he got the seats for like $3 or so each. And when you consider if the stands would be full (they would be if it was not for this guy - end of season, the top two temas fighting for playoff spots) they would make BANK in food and souvineer (sp?) sales as well - plus selling the seats for face and not bulk discount.

I hope the Dodgers walk Bonds every single time he gets up... would be funny for the guy. Or better yet if they struck him out.

Now that's good thinking I wonder if I should try that at Fenway sometime just because...Of course it would cost me 3 times as much damn red sox and their high prices...

I'd love to see the lawsuit that guy could slap on the Dodgers for letting fans in free to seats he paid for. He should have let em.

i read about this guy back when he bought this tix this spring - the Dodgers weren't nearly as pissed back then are they are now....

oh hell ya - uless they made him signa contract saying he would fill the seats they had no legal claim
