If the report is released publicly before the Nov. 2 election, Democrats are likely to seize on the document as another opportunity to criticize the Bush administration's leading argument for war in Iraq and the deteriorating security situation there.

I hate to break the news but the CIA supplied Saddam with his WMD's when we were going after the Iranians.

Lots of people thought he had WMD's. Past Presidents, the current President and even possible future Presidents.

Incidentally, what was Saddam hiding? Why NOT let inspectors have full access? Because Saddam wanted the world to believe he had WMD's just as much as the world wanted to believe he had them.
