DJ Productions (Fat Pockets, Big Time Cash, and Quick Hundred) closing doors 9-18-04
I just received this email
------------- September 16th, 2004 Due to several factors including an increase in fraud, a decrease in renewal and conversion from trial rates, and a slipping U.S. Dollar, we have no choice but to shut down our advertising program. All uncashed Bonus Bucks have been forfeited, and our system will cease tracking traffic on Saturday, September 18th, 2004. Your earnings from September will be paid when we make our final payout on October 20, 2004. If you are in the BigTimeCash.com recurring program, you will be paid by us on October 20, 2004 for your revenue generated up to October 15, 2004. Revenue generated by your members after that date will be paid by Paycom. We thank you for your years of support, and we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience. The DJ Productions Team ------------------------------- I never used their other 2 programs, but Fat Pockets always converted rather well and paid me like clockwork. It's a shame to see what I thought was a solid company go down :( |
I just got that too, I wonder what the hell is up with that...seemed like a good program..Dammm wtf?
:( |
i read something differant..
we are taking our rebills and running.. later! |
sorry to hear that..
I wasn't promoting them though |
Compliments to them for having the professionalism to send an email......unlike zanycash for example :2 cents:

after that date will be paid by Paycom." I think the rebills are ok...the bonus bucks (whatever that was) are a goner though. |
Our conversions had absolutely gone to the dogs over the last 2 months but at least they warned us they were closing.
Shame about the bonus dollars - we were going to have some fun at Amazon before Christmas. |
that sucks
|
I used them for 5 years all the way back when they were using CTC. Those were the good days when they sold like crazy :glugglug They even had some downtime but compensated they webmasters for it.
Top notch guys :( |
Can you get your stats?
"Unable to contact database server" |
Does this signal trouble for other companies, or were they just not keeping the sites fresh enough?
|
How many other sponsors have closed shop this year? :(

That sucks, at least we got notice and they're not stealing rebills. DJ productions was a class act, I wouldn't expect anything less. Sad to see them close the doors.
Their old 100% recurring program was one of the biggest money makers I've ever found. At least I had just spent my bonus bucks. :glugglug |
Most programs would have just started shaving (more) under these conditions.
|
Used them for years. Never a late payment. Always good support and good conversions.
Most programs would not even send out an email like this, and probably keep the recurring. Hope to see them back with a new program someday! |
