Let's everyone give a big Atlanta welcome to Ivan

this town is FUCKED right now, any low lying areas are flooded...tornadoes have been touching down all over georgia

our street in front of the house is no longer a street, it is a river....no definition of street and sidewalk, just one river

everything is flooded...and right now 20mph winds, but they are expecting up to 35mph

I was planning on going up to ATL this weekend to check out the NOPI car show.

Should I cancel my trip?

:(

Looks like its got Georgia completely engulfed. This one is the kind you'll never forget if you ended up in its path.

Wonder what it's like at the top floors of the Westin Peachtree, that tall skinny hotel. I bet that sucker is swaying in the breeze big time.

AIS was not harmed but turn out is probably not going to be as high as normal. My shop pulled out and got a refund, we will be in next year though.

Sorry to hear that.....

hmm....well so far I've avoided the first hurricane by being down in Miami, missed the 2nd one by being at Lake Havasu.

So I don't really want to drive 5 hours just to have to deal with Ivan.

The car show is being held outdoors at the ATL raceway. But hopefully the weather will improve by Saturday.

Yup, it flooded like a bitch today, I couldn't leave my house.
