Honda man?

The's the 1997 WORLD CHAMPION. This was only his second year in F1!! and at his first year, he was a contender until the last race!

He's awesome, and shumacher is a big cry baby faggot.

NoCarrier 09-16-2004 02:57 PM

Jacques Villeneuve is overrated. His dad had driving skills. Not him.

Jacques Villeneuve was great in Indy Cars, however stepping into something like a F-1 car even with his experience in CART, is a major step. Probally like a jump between a Honda S2000 and a Ferarri, both are fast but one is much more fine tuned. Then add in he had never driven any of the tracks before makes for a steep learning curve. This is the reason you don't see very many drivers coming from American racing in to F-1 and the ones that do have a very hard time adjusting.

He still finished second during his first year while keeping his chance of winning the title till the last race.

He won the title during his second year.

He got the Pole position at his FIRST race.

Any average F1 driver would have won in the 97 Williams car. Villeneuve is lucky to have his father's name because he certainly didn't inherit his talent.

Steve 09-16-2004 08:34 PM

Depends on if he's motivated. I would like to see him racing hard. He'll look great in the Renault, and probably be bringing up the rear next season in the Sauber.

Complete waste of time, driving for a bottom feeder team. He's too old to work his ay up the ladder, he should have prayed Button goes to Williams, and went back to BAR cheap.

Will be fun to see Sato blowing by him with regularity. Until he blows up his engine!

Suuure.

That's why he dominated from karting to F1?

500 Indianapolis, Indycar (Champcar), Vice Champion F1 '96 and Champion '97

Un québécois qui chie sur ses do'er. Quelle surprise. Céline c'est une merde aussi? P'tit peuple de bs.

Vitasoy 09-16-2004 09:51 PM

That is before, this is now... lets see how he does.

Barrichello IS an average driver and is #2 with 27 more points than third pos. Give him the opportunity to beat Shumacher and he can do it.

He proved to the world in Belgium that even when he's 1 second faster then Shumacher, he can't fucking pass him due to politic. Do you even watch the races? It's a fucking joke.

I have way more respect to Prost or Senna. At least they were fightning for pride and honnor. Shumacher hates competition.

I'm 100% with you. I don't worry though.

3rd in testing today with way less laps than Sato/Raikkonen after 11 months + in a totally new car that feels differently than BAR.

BrainDead 09-16-2004 11:11 PM

good to hear that! now i have again the reason to watch out for the race. thanks for the info!:)

reynold 09-16-2004 11:15 PM

good news! great for the f1...:thumbsup

TORTOISE 09-17-2004 12:08 AM

I read in a car mag today ,he has offered his driving services to any team for next season for a cut price 1 million instead of his usual fee of 14 mill + and he is also providing a sponsor who will bring in $5 mill ...so that would be like getting him free and $4 mill, the reason i guess is so he can show what he can do and then a few seasons later change the deal,

so expect to see him racing next year i think

please
Rueben's cannot compete with Schumi
Do not let your hatred blind you. It isn't even close. Michael might make less mistakes in a whole season than RB does in one race.

and I was a huge Senna fan - I do not think MS is the best ever, just the most successfulof our time
