Four-year old girl runs away to meet 6-year-old fiancé
The place is Alencon, a small town in France. It's sunrise. The door opens quietly. A little girl's face peers up and down the street in the new morning light. Then she eases out, carrying a backpack. And she's on her way. But then she runs into two neighbors who ask her why she's out so early. Ever proud, she explains that she's going on a date with her boyfriend, who she expects to marry very soon. But the big bad neighbors detour her to the local police station, where she urgently explains that she's got to go because he's waiting for her in his room. But the best laid plans of mice, men and little girls go awry, and she soon finds herself the object of her parents' shocked surprise as the police present her at their front door.
