Lensman Saved My Life "True Story"
 

People can do things for you that effect your life more then they may know. So that is why I want to make this post.

I will leave out some of the story - Reason more of you will read the whole post.


September 2003 - I started partying a little bit more then my normal self. Not just drinking and smoking - but picking up some new highs along the way. The one that really seemed like the most fun and kept the party going was Speed "Meth". Only doing this maybe a few day's out of the month seemed harmless. Well as of Jan 17th 2004 until May 29th I was doing this harmless shit everyday. Of course this means staying up for 3 and 4 day's at a time. I started to think that well I will just stop tomorrow or after this binge. That of course never happened. Then one day while sitting at my desk sucking on the glass dick. My old Friend Lens shoots me a ICQ saying would you like to go to Budapest Hungry. I say hell ya....!!!! This was right before the Alanta Webmaster Access Show. Thinking to myself God I have to stop smoking this shit or I will die. Trying to stop was not going to be easy. In fact until the day or the hour before I got on the plane to fly first to LA, to meet up with Sal. I was puffing away. Getting my doped up ass on the plane to LA with NO DRUGS in my pockets was hard - But I did it. On June 1st we came to Budapest - I'm still here - after about a week or two I started to feel much much better and know after 3 and half months with nothing I feel GREAT !!!

Had that ICQ from LENSMAN not come when it did I really don't know what may have happened. I still have my Business, House and Duplex. A new Harley is being built for me and most of all I have my MIND still.

Lensman I love you Bro...and you will never really know how much you did for me by sending that message.

Everyone thinks life is like the movies...some big event in the end to save the day...when this is what life is really like *most of the time*....nothing but a small series of events that can direct your life to success or ruin at every simple choice...glad this opportunity came about for you man..it's good to hear when someone has an opportunity that seems not so important but turns out to be a life saver.

yeah, been there, done that . . . for years . . . almost burned myself up when I fell asleep with a 1 quart lit butane torch in my hand . . . . still didn't quit . . . not sure what was the final straw, just one day said "no more."

It makes it easier when it isn't around, but eventually you know you will be put in the situation again where it is available. That is when you have to be strong and "just say no."

Yes I know some of this falling a sleep while driving type stuff....All I can say is I'm really lucky.
