If you think Alexa is a big deal (or deal at all), leave adult now. Infact, leave the online industry, I hear Juic-erm Wendy's and Sears is hiring.

I wouldn't worry about it really. Now if your traffic and sales start goin down then I'd be a little concerned.

Well it has been under 100,000 for around a year and all of the sudden its around 213,000. I looked at other sites I usually peruse and they are about the same as they were before.
This is the only reason I'm bringing this up.

....but he is right, in regard to Alexa. In short, don't stress over it. Alexa is a piece of shit.

The first two weeks in september have been the lightest first 2 weeks of any month this year. I'm usually on an upward slope this time of year. So I'm concerned.

Alexa is WAY overrated.

My site was once hovering around 12,000 for a long time. (the site I am speaking of is modelgig.com) no longer my site...therefore the Alexa has plummeting as the site is being driven into the ground now. lol

It's "funny"... When I started out doing internet stuff, it was all Yahoo.. Overture... then Google.. Never even heard much about ALexa. But over the last year or so I started having more contact with people in the "amateur" end of things. And for some reason, a LOT of these pro-am/amateur people really look at the Alexa rankings a lot... I just talked to someone the other day and they were telling me about Alexa ratings and I was like "huh"???

Mandy - check out the graphs on thehun, worldsex etc... a TON of adult sites (maybe others as well) have been going down in rankings.

Don't worry. Alexa is about as relevant to the adult industry as pork belly prices.
