I'm going to make a shitload of freesites and the questions are...

How many different link sites should I submit too?

I mean if I have a bunch of sites listed, that will create a leak right?

Do I create multiple start pages?

I would suggest creating many different entrance pages with about 3-5 recips on each one. Things to keep in mind though are that link sites don't really like this from what I have read. They know it happens but they don't like it thrown in their face so when you name your entrance pages don't do it with numbers like page1.htm, page2.htm etc., instead use different keywords that reflect the content that is on your site. Say you have a lesbian site then maybe name the first page lesbians.htm, the second page pussy_lickers.htm, the third page carpet_munching.htm, etc. etc. Thats my 1.2 cents worth anyways http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

Ok, Im lost here....

I keep hearing you guys talking about making tons of free sites and submiting them to linklist sites. What happens after they are removed from the linklists? As new sites get added, your site moves down the list till it is completley off the list. How do you keep traffic to them? Do you do trades on all of those sites with the initial linksite traffic?

I dont get it? I run 3 free sites, those keep me more than busy.

Do all of these free sites have their own domain...or are they seperate subdirectories under the same domain?

How many galleries do you use for each free site?

These free sites that you guys make...do you have some examples I could check out? Im always looking for new wasy of doing things.

Please enlighten me.

tenletters - I run a couple link lists, and I will agree with Toolguy....build as many entrance pages as you can. I'd say use about 5 recips for each one, and make it a good mix...maybe 2 heavy hitters, 1 medium, and 2 smaller link site recips per page. Make sure you read all there rules, and follow them to the tee and you shouldn't have any problems getting listed with them all. Yes, this will create a small leak, but ya can't get something for nothing. In my case, most of my traffic is coming from SE's not the sites that have a recip back to me so believe me, you won't lose that much.

Exxxotica - I'm not sure what link lists you are talking about that they will fall off the list. When someone links with me, they are there to stay. The only reason they will be removed is if their site goes down permanently, or they add shit after originally being listed which is against my rules. I am a firm believer in "do onto others as you would have them do onto you" I build free sites, and link them out....I'm not going to screw people listing with me any more than I would want to be screwed when I link out.

Exxxotica, what is your definition of a free site? Maybe it differs from mine, but 3 free sites would have me twiddling my thumbs all day.

The free sites that I build, I find, don't need maintaining, it's the "build 'em and forget about it" method.

Some guys out there have 2 or 3 thousand free sites, which is what I'm shooting for. Success comes in numbers, doing this all day, 7 days per week, 15 hours per day, there is more than enough time in a day for
- 1 gallery
- 3 free sites
- 3 avs sites
- update my tgps
- check and reply to email
- check $tats
- check the boards, post to them adult and non adult
- shop around for new sponsors, content, biz news

You make three a day???? Geeze - takes me three days to make one. How do you keep'em in the Search Engines if you forget about them?

Oh, and I understand what exxxotica is saying. You will fall off the list on most of these. Persian Kitty doesn't list you forever. Neither do most of the other big ones - do they? If they use cgi out tags - it is useless for the SEs. I can't get some of the other big ones to list me anyway. Persian Kitty listed my two last sites, but as soon as I fall off - I will have to rely on SE traffic. Wetplace listed me too, and they have good SE quality listings that will help with the SEs. I get the impression they keep you on there for a while.

I have submitted three quality sites to Naughty links - and they looked at at least one of them, but as far as I can tell - listed none.

I don't really care if I get traffic from some of these sites, but I would like listing for SE purposes. Many are useless for that.

I have no idea where the traffic on old sites is coming from, but I do know that it keeps coming.

For example, I had a site listed in the top 10 at excite for a certain fetish term. It stayed there for a loooong time, and brought near $500 per month with FetishCash as a sponsor, which was great because I didn't have to do anything and it was nice pocket money, I bought music CDs, computer stuff, gifts, books, clothes, videos, site content and payed for hosting 4 months in advance with the money that I had got from 1 site. In fact, I'm still payed for hosting in advance right now with that money, so it feels that I'm getting it paid hosting for free.

But, about 2 months ago that site must've dropped out of the search engines and traffic stopped. It was listed on greenguy and tommy's (isn't there anymore).

It's all good however, when I'm building on a daily basis, I can only expect that sites will be listed somewhere 4 to 5 months down the line, and if each site only achieves 5% success of the aforementioned site, then believe me, I will be VERY VERY happy with that. Do the math, you'll see.

I won't get rich from free sites, but with the correct knowledge it's easy to make a comfortable living. And I enjoy doing them. It's like getting paid to fuck... though honestly I'd rather build sites than fuck, it's all business and I love it.

They must be pretty small (picture/gallery wise) if you guys are cranking out 3 a day.

Do your sites all fall under the same domain name? Or are you useing seperate domain names for all of these?

If you want an example of what a freesite looks like just go to link-o-rama and take a look at 10 sites or so that are listed...that should give you an idea. It does not matter if each site is on a separate domain or not. If you can afford it you can build one on each domain or have one domain and build 100's of subdirectories (freesites on them.

A freesite should have 20 pics ,2 galleries of 10 pics each. I put all my recips on the main page, below my gallery links, and I have no problem getting listed with GG and Tommy's etc..Your index page should be for advertising only since this is your prime spot.

The key is to keep on building and never look back! It's EASY to build 3 different sites a day (more preferably); just use templates. Traffic will die out from the big LL but small LL will send traffic for a long time and you'll get traffic from SE.Just make sure you optimize each page, re-name all your pics to keywords your aiming for, put alt tags in your images.. O'h another tip, put your pics on html pages with keywords and put "back to gallery" on the bottom..the SE's will sometimes spider them too..And don't worry, Tommy's Bookmarks will accept pics on html pages, as long as the site is clean overall.

And your sites don't need logos either..Just use big text for a title...don't waste bandwidth, everything on the site should be there to make you $$$. Last tip, link your sites together. On the main page you might want to link a few sites in the same niche, SE's will spider these sites and you will increase your link pop. If you cannot sell with strict LL's rules then learn how to filter trafic to more "agressive pages" with consoles etc.. If you need help just go read Maxcash tutorials or the ones at Topniche...

I was in a hurry last time I posted to this topic and figured someone would post this anyways but since it has not been posted here it goes...lol
When building a free site you can add alot more to your traffic if you build two galleries (content pages) with at least 15 pics on each page. This gives you the ability to submit each gallery to all the no-recip TGP's or even make a copy of them and add recips for the TGP's that require them. With 30 pictures on a site that also qualifies you to call it an AVS site so you can create new entrances that are AVS protected and then get linked off their link lists. I think that 30 is still the number of pics required for most AVS programs but you'll need to check each individually to be sure. Here's what I am talking about

Ive built small little 5 gallery sites for Tommy's and Foxy's before...I neve knew this is what you guys were refering to by "Free Sites" Looking over my stats...YES!!! These sites I made a while ago still do get traffic. (not a lot though, but I guess if you had several hundred out there, it would be some decent traffic)

I totaly see the concept of multiple free sites now.
