Almost lost my finger today, but im getting workers comp! :)
 

accident at the factory today nearly took off my finger today. a quarter inch drill bit went right through the my index finger and broke the bone. However, i've got vicodin and motrin about the ass and now I'll have time to actually get my biz off the ground. No more wakin' up at 4:30 am bitch boys!

I've almost lost my digits a few times, usually doing stupid stuff, like cutting a bagel when I actually managed to saw half way into my bone. Nothing like a drill bit though- ewww!

I can't believe they gave you motrin- you should ask for something stronger on your follow up.

One time my thumb was busted up pretty bad, my nail was shattered, blood squirting, etc. When the nurse tried to give me a "Mega Motrin" I threatened to shove it up her ass.

Opps, sorry, my hatred for the Motrin blinded me from the Vicodin part, you're good to go :thumbsup

I sent a big ass drill into my hand once as well. I drilled bone even.

Did you sever the digitial nerve? I did that's why I had microsurgery to repair that shit.. it didn't work. I still don't have feeling on those two fingers, but it's only numb on the inside halves. It's fuckin bizarre. At the top of knuckle I have all feeling, 1 cm away (towards the inside of the finger), and it goes completely numb.
