Tricams states they are no longer allowed to process payouts?

[email protected] states:

"Please understand that the reason for our switch was not made by us but FOR us. Overnight we were told by our CC processor that the processing and payouts were over. Believe me that we ourselves will be in a long lasting legal battle
with them over this."

Has anyone else heard of this?

I asked why my checks have stopped coming and he gave me some bullshit about tricams no longer running their cams and they have a new site that is not up and running yet and they will transfer all webmaster accounts to the new site if we can furnish the user names of everyone we referred over the last 3 years.

He states, "Believe me that we ourselves will be in a long lasting legal battle with them over this."

I asked him if he had a site to show us the terms of the legal battle and he has not yet responded.

You're post doesn't make sense.

Your working for someone that's calling Tricams their 'credit card processor' ?

pornguy 09-15-2004 07:25 PM

When I first read the topic I was trying to figure out where the tricam states were.

chianti 09-15-2004 07:38 PM

Sorry....

I'm a retired cam performer. I referred my entire voyeur following of 6 years to sign up at tricams.com so that when I retired I would get 25% payout on the moneythat the voyeurs I referred spent watching cam shows. I did it as a sort of retirement fund while I am busy starting my new career.

In my webmaster statistics which I have not looked at in about three months (I looked when I realized that my checks stopped coming). My stats show that on my referrals, 15 to 25 voyeurs are logging into the site daily for cam shows, but I am not getting my 25% payout.

When I contacted tricams.com to find out why he responded in a 2 part e-mail that really didn't makes sense to me...

"Well, to be honest we don't have a full solution in place yet.
But that needs a few more words.

If existing users migrate from Tricams to clubXlive using our links,
they are administered under your old account-ID
Same holds through for new users.

If a user links through from Tricams to clubXlive, we also set cookies.
This in case he decides to not sign up right now and come back later.
So we do everything we can to link "old" customers to "old" accounts.

CamConomy/clubXlive does not support its own "internal" webmaster
program for chathosts.
It will make use of a dedicated, professional webmaster program for
this
purpose, to which chathosts can signup seperately.
It has its own signup procedure, payouts, promo-materials, stats,
linking codes and whatnot.

For the above sites just one thing went wrong: they were forced to go
live 2 months before things were up and ready for it.
This was forced upon us by a malfunctioning CC processor.
But we will sort out the mess and link back everything to everybody we
owe.

What I cannot tell from here is which customers you are talking about
and what sites they use.
Via Castview you appear on Tricams (now down) and on HSN (still up)

Via CamConomy you currently can appear on clubXlive.

You have to supply me with the ID's of the customers to backtrack
things
for you, and also what site they are using.

Just give me a bit more info to bite into so we can get to the
specifics.

Kind regards,
Rob

Please understand that the reason for our switch was not made by us but
FOR us.
Overnight we were told by our CC processor that the processing and
payouts were over.
Believe me that we ourselves will be in a long lasting legal battle
with
them over this.

But this will not be of any benefit to you on short notice.

So our only option was to offer everybody involved (chathosts &
customers) the option to use a new site of ours that at that moment in
time was "in the making".

We guarantee that all customers that can be linked to "older" accounts
one way or the other will be granted to the benefit of any "older"
chathost associated.

Please don't hesitate to communicate about this with me.
We are not shying away from the topic.
But we can also not help when trusted parties all of a sudden seem to
have different agendas.

Kind regards,
Rob

I e-mailed him back, asking him if he had a site to show me some kind of proff of the legal battle, but have not recieved a reply.

Hi Rob and thanks for answering.

There is no possible way for me, or any other
webmaster to furnish the names of all 350 sign ups.
Providing you with two names is not going to cover the
lost bi-monthly income of those sign ups either.

Now Rob, it's no secret that I have retired from the
adult internet. I referred my clients to tricams for
the sole purpose of having retirement benefits. I
hope you are not telling me that tricams has converted
to a new name so now I am not entitled to those
benefits. That would be the equivalent of telling a
65 year old man that his 30 year old pension no longer
exists because his company is under new management.

Please forgive my forwardness, I would think that you
would have this information on record. Please refer
to the records your accounting department used with
the information that was collected from setting the
cookies. I'm sure that if they were able to make a
list of credits from a "hit" then they should be able
to somehow refurbish that list so that the refering
webmasters recieve their contractual percentages.

Thank you,
Kirsten

That doesnt surprise me at all. Tricams has a habit of withholding thheir webmasters and chathost hard earned money and theres always some bs reason why. Ifriends neverw ithholds anyones money even if you violate one of their agreements they pay you whatever u had in your account before ur violation.

TheSenator 09-15-2004 07:45 PM

that sucks....do your link codes work for TriCams.com ?

chupacabra 09-15-2004 07:47 PM

utter bullshit and double-talk, sounds like they are gearing up to screw quite a few chianti, good luck..!

chianti 09-15-2004 07:49 PM

I no longer have links out. I had my following bookmark my referral link so that I could keep track of my earnings per hit.

chianti 09-16-2004 07:11 AM

Bumping this for the cam girls who are just waking up.

ElMatador 09-16-2004 07:43 AM

Hey chianti,
They have had that problem about 2 months ago. Their new site is clubxlive which is all prepaid chat, too many charge backs. I haven't heard of anyone not being paid though, quite surprising

chianti 09-16-2004 08:02 AM

Mornin elmatador.

Ironically enough I just checked my stats and they have my joins down to 39 as opposed to 390.

While I'm sure it's possible, I really double that all 39 joins log into the site every single day to keep up the 15 to 25 daily log ins, not when it's pay per view anyway lol.

They really just ran me over with a mack truck.

ElMatador 09-16-2004 08:07 AM

Sounds weird but in this business anything is possible.
all I know is that many hosts on tricams have reported an increase in traffic since they want to close the site.

chianti 09-16-2004 08:09 AM

If there is an increase in traffic then I should be getting my retirement check.

stocktrader23 09-16-2004 08:14 AM

Screenshot your stats and email him what he wants.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt being he did respond to your email instead of hitting the delete key.

chianti 09-16-2004 08:21 AM

I printed them out, but I'll do that too. Thank's for the suggestion. You might be right. I hope I am jumping the gun.
