too many advertisements on my free site? WTF?
 

I received this email today from one of the link lists I submit to:

Your site is already added, but please, keep your advertisements a little
bit DOWN.The most link sites will decline your submission, if you put so
much banners and textlinks.The max. allowed is 1 banner OR textlink = 5 images
----

Is this really too many advertisements? I wouldn't think so... And if it is what the hell else do I fill all of the "white space" with? Most link lists do accept my sites, but I'm curious what you all think about this.

For the past week I have been trying to get an AVS site of mine onto the Adult Check link list - but the reviewer, Noel, is having none of it. I've heard some crazy shit but quite simply this guy takes the biscuit, he seems to think that the rules for gold sites guidelines apply to standard sites also...
